I’m using a LG 38” Ultrawide 3440x1600 @ 144 Hz and it’s buttery smooth gameplay. I was in the 80 frames area with my Intel 7700k @ 5.1 GHz with my old RTX 2080 Ti. But now easy hitting pass 144 frames with my new AMD 5959X and RTX 3090 FE. Card runs HOT YouTuber Jayz2cents did a removal of the cards 3080/3090 and tried other pads which resulting in a much lower temperature in the 20 degree drop on air. Already bought ek water blocks along with the new back plate that will cool the memory side much better. Planning on buying the LG OLED 46” 4K gaming as well after getting everything dialed in. And of course after buying the card $1300 over SRP NVIDIA announced a replacement of the new 3090 Super really I am already obsolete.

This was definitely used for mining. I will have to repaste it. It performs fine otherwise but seems overpriced for the labor in taking apart this kind of card for repasting (its quite arduous, requiring the removal of ribbons and other components to repaste).

Managed to snatch one for 1900 (couple hundred over MSRP, best you can hope for these days) and first impressions, it’s beefy. I mean physically, it’s huge. Make sure your case has the width to fit it. You also need a high wattage power supply, maybe higher than you expect due to alleged power spikes, though I haven’t gotten these myself. I’ve actually been running this on a PSU 100W under recommended spec and it’s been doing pretty okay, stock though, no overcooks or anything. Great performance in games or for workstations, but let’s be real, if you’re smart you bought this for the VRAM.

The 3090 is a powerful card for rendering, encoding, and gaming. Under load the FE can be a bit loud as the fans speed up. But for normal things like gaming and encoding in 4K the fans barely even turn on so that's good. Aside from it being the hottest running card I've ever had it seems to be completely okay with it, and chews through everything I do with ease. It weighs a ton compared to most other cards due to the massive heatsink design, so bracing it should definitely be a consideration in a normal setup. Otherwise it will twist your PCIE slot hard and sag a lot.

Runs my games like a champ on absolute max setting, 2x 2k monitor. The only issue is that it is LOUD! Also would not recommend purchasing if you have anything less then a 850 watt power supply as it pulls 350+ on its own or have a small case for it. It is truly a beast in size, power, and sound.

Nvidia's previous flagship gpu. This is what the original RTX 3090 should have been from the start. Got this 3090 Ti in great shape and am definitely enjoying it very much!

3090 FE in almost perfect condition. Very clean from any dust, no visible damage at all. Seller was very upfront that this GPU was used in a mining rig before, but was maintained professionally. The thermals are better than I anticipated. the card was obviously repadded - in OCCT 3D adaptive-extreme test, VRAM junction stays under 83 degrees (102 is max recommended), vs 98 in another 3090 FE card that I bought from a gamer friend. It is also likely repasted as well (the GPU itself is 2 degrees cooler than my other 3090 FE card). I got this card for my Deep Learning rig at home - the temperatures during Neural Networks training is quite good, 4-5 degrees less than the other 3090 FE I got from my gamer friend. 3D Mark (Time Spy) graphics score is above 19'000. The price that I got it for ($900 + $100 tax) is $200 higher than I could have gotten on Facebook Marketplace ($800), but I think the amount of work that was put into this card (cleaning, repasting, repadding) and the 1yr warranty justifies the price.Read full review

After changing pads to performance ones, adding aluminium and copper heatsinks to the backplate and adding a high rpm fan to cool the backplate. If you buy this card you will have to open it or else it will thermal throttle ALWAYS.

Awesomely fast for gaming, cad, and any type of graphical or computationally intensive work. Prices are jacked up right now because of low supplies and high demands, but we’ll worth it if you can afford.

Not quiet at all lol literally sounds like a jet engine going to take off in my room. However the hash rate of this gpu is unbeatable 106 mh per second and since ethereum went up big time payouts have increased to double or triple the regular amount the value of these gpu and lower end ones everywhere due to supply and demand. All in all you can’t go wrong with this card just wish she wasn’t as noisy and I built a water cooler loop instead. I have the nvidia founders edition also for anyone wondering. I keep a fan nearby because she gets very hot while mining 108C HAD to install waterblock from ekwb and a huge thermal take radiator with 4 fans on each side to keep vrram temps below 80c other than that preforms well tuned it a bit to 103 mh at 240 watts average.
